What we collect

When you enquire. Your name and phone number arrive with your WhatsApp message, along with whatever you tell us: the dates, the car and the area you are in. The enquiry widget on this site does not ask for your name or number and does not store anything — it composes a WhatsApp message that you choose to send.

When you rent. We record your driving licence number and the government photo ID you present, because verifying the driver is a legal and insurance requirement. We keep photographs of the car taken at handover and return.

When you browse. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and, where analytics are in use, aggregate visit data. We do not use advertising trackers to build a profile of you.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, to arrange and run the rental, to verify that the person driving is licensed to, to comply with tax and transport requirements, and to deal with an accident, insurance claim or traffic fine if one arises.

Who we share it with

Only where it is necessary: our insurer if a claim arises, the police or a transport authority where the law requires it, and our payment or accounting providers for the transaction. We do not sell your data and we do not pass your number to third-party marketers.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Rental records and identity documents are kept for as long as tax, insurance and transport rules require, then deleted.

WhatsApp

Messages you send us travel through WhatsApp, which operates under its own privacy terms. We use it because customers prefer it, but be aware your message sits on their infrastructure as well as with us.
